Its multi-stack tooling design is capable of producing fixed or variable radius bends. The linear guide movements encompass recirculating ball spheres, brushless motors, and a robust mechanical structure, all meticulously designed to ensure exceptional productivity, superior quality, and extended operational longevity. Every electric tube bender from Pedrazzoli is outfitted with FANUC digital motors, servo amplifiers, and connection cables.
The CNC language, be it ISO or G-code, is automatically generated by the Pedrazzoli Intelligent Motion Control Post-Processor Series 4. Moreover, the entire machine structure of Pedrazzoli is crafted from high-grade steel.
Intelligent Motion Control (IMS)
Pedrazzoli’s Stern Brown Series of electric end forming machines boasts a proven and reliable design that executes multiple forming and machining operations on the workpiece within a single cycle. The tooling turret movement is automatically optimized for efficient performance, with up to 15 powered workstations featuring rotational and linear movement capabilities.
These workstations can undertake a range of functions including expansion, reduction, end forming, beading, facing, chamfering, closing, threading, tapping, flaring, and more.
All Pedrazzoli CNC Systems are equipped with the highly adaptable Intelligent Motion Control (IMS) program, featuring a user-friendly touch screen for intuitive operation, complete with three-dimensional graphic programming capabilities. Generating, managing, and executing new programs can be achieved swiftly within minutes.
IMS is a comprehensive solution for overseeing bending and end forming processes, contributing to enhanced operator training and elevated productivity. The management of machine axis within predefined safety zones is effortless, which proves beneficial for optimizing tool testing and programming machine sequences during setup.
Data input can be done directly on the machine or imported from 3D drawings to facilitate the creation of machine cycles. The system accommodates both XYZ and Cartesian coordinates with seamless conversion. Also, it automatically generates and optimizes symmetrical or mirrored parts, as well as G-code for Fanuc NC.
To improve productivity, Pedrazzoli offers an optional auto robotic handling and workpiece loading system, powered by Fanuc Robotics.
