The Pedrazzoli Brown SN 420 SA is a semi-automatic horizontal band saw for accurate cutting of ferrous and nonferrous tube, pipe and structural profiles. Its heavy cast-iron base helps reduce vibration during the cut, supporting better squareness, longer blade life and a smoother finish.
With round capacity up to 11 inches at 90°, hydraulic clamping and automatic bow return, the SN 420 SA is built for shops that make repeated cuts while still positioning stock manually. For an overview of operating styles and fit, see our semi-automatic band saw guide.
The machine operates in either manual or semi-automatic mode and miters in both directions—up to 60° left and 45° right.

In semi-automatic operation, a flow regulator controls bow descent speed, the hydraulic vise secures the workpiece, and the bow returns to the start position after the cut. The foot pedal starts the semi-automatic cycle so the operator can keep both hands available for material handling.
The Brown SN 420 SA is a strong fit when a shop makes repeated cuts but does not need automatic stock feeding. It provides a simpler, more economical option for varied lengths, changing profiles and lower-volume production than a fully automatic saw.
The operator positions the material and starts the cycle. The hydraulic vise secures the work, controlled bow movement completes the cut, and the bow returns to the starting position while the vise remains closed.
At 90°, the machine cuts round material up to 11 inches, square material up to 10.6 inches, and rectangular material up to 16.5 × 7.5 inches.
Yes. The saw head positions to fixed stops up to 60° left and 45° right, making it suitable for straight and dual-direction miter cutting.
