MMP Bench top Digital Measuring System Accessory

MMP BENCHTOP DIGITAL MEASURING SYSTEM ACCESSORY

Shop-floor measuring that survives the shop floor.

Calipers get dropped, lost, and knocked out of calibration. The MMP Digital Length Gauge is the rugged alternative – a fixed measuring station built for the environment next to your saw, where cut pieces need checking all day, every day.

Large precision-ground tool steel anvils give the part full, square contact – no more errors from a caliper tipped a few degrees off the surface. The optional non-marring rest supports the material during measurement, so finish-critical parts stay finish-critical. And with longer available lengths and an unlimited measuring range, the MMP verifies pieces no caliper can reach.

Station it at the outfeed of your Pedrazzoli saw and every cut gets checked in seconds – first-article, in-process, or 100% inspection.

The MMP is routinely customized to the material being measured

  • Round bar and tubing – a channel holds round stock in place, with custom anvils that travel inside the channel for solid contact at any diameter. The natural companion for tube and pipe cutting.
  • Thin sheet and shim stock – a stepped UHMW surface with slot-riding anvils keeps thin material from slipping under the anvils; also suits thin-gauge sheet metal and labels.
  • Formed parts with fittings (e.g. brake lines) – a rotating anvil measures with or without the end fitting, and custom V-blocks keep the part straight during measurement.
