The Pedrazzoli SN 300 Newton is a manual gravity-feed horizontal band saw for cutting ferrous and nonferrous tube, pipe, profiles and solids. It combines a balanced bow, adjustable descent pressure and a heavy cast-iron base in a compact machine designed for accurate everyday cutoff and miter work.
With round capacity up to 8.7 inches at 90°, the SN 300 Newton is well suited to maintenance departments, weld shops, job shops and fabricators that need flexible metal cutting without automatic material feeding.
The saw head miters in both directions—up to 60° left and 45° right. Its large circular table rotates with the bow, keeping the workpiece supported through angled cuts.
See the SN 300 Newton manual gravity-feed band saw in operation.
The SN 300 Newton provides manual and dynamic down-feed selections. In dynamic mode, gravity controls bow descent through the material. The operator adjusts the feed pressure, positions the blade above the workpiece and starts the cut. At the end of the cut, a limit switch stops blade motion and the operator raises the bow.
For manual control, the operator can balance the bow using the tension spring and adjust descent pressure with the flow regulator. This flexibility helps match the cutting action to different materials and profiles.
| Cut angle | Round | Square | Rectangle |
|---|---|---|---|
| 45° right | 6.3 in. | 4.7 in. | 6.3 × 5.1 in. |
| 90° / 0° | 8.7 in. | 7.5 in. | 13 × 5.9 in. |
| 45° left | 7.9 in. | 5.9 in. | 4.7 × 5.1 in. |
| 60° left | 5.1 in. | 4.3 in. | 4.3 × 4.3 in. |

Choose the SN 300 Newton when your shop cuts different materials and lengths, needs frequent miter changes and does not require automatic stock feeding. It offers more controlled cutting than a basic pivot saw while keeping operation and maintenance straightforward.
If repeated hydraulic clamping and automatic bow return would save meaningful operator time, compare the SN 300 with the Brown SN 420 SA semi-automatic band saw.
Yes. It is a manual horizontal band saw with a gravity-controlled dynamic down-feed mode. The operator loads and clamps the material, starts the cut and raises the bow after the blade stops.
At 90°, it cuts round material up to 8.7 inches, square material up to 7.5 inches and rectangular material up to 13 × 5.9 inches.
Yes. The saw head positions up to 60° left and 45° right.
On a gravity-feed saw, the balanced bow descends through the material and the operator resets it after the cut. A semi-automatic saw adds a powered cutting cycle, hydraulic clamping and automatic bow return.
