Evidence reviewed September 19, 2026. Choosing a CNC tube bender requires more than comparing a model number or maximum outside diameter. The useful question is whether the exact machine, tooling and quoted configuration can produce your part from your material to your acceptance criteria.
This guide provides a practical framework for comparing Pedrazzoli Bend Master machines with equipment considered from Crippa/OCTA, BLM, AMOB, Universal Tool & Engineering, transfluid, Hines, VLB, Horn, Tube Form Solutions, Unison, YLM, Pines, Trick-Tools and Winton. It is not a ranking. Product specifications change, and names in this article include manufacturers as well as sales or integration channels. Confirm the current specification and quote scope directly with each supplier.
A published maximum capacity is an initial screening point, not proof of application fit. A complete comparison should identify:
| Model | Published U.S. capacity | Published control | Important configuration note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bend Master 45 | 1.75 × .118 in. | 10 electric controlled axes, plus one optional axis | Published for clockwise and counter-clockwise bending in the same cycle and 3+ tool stacks. |
| Bend Master 65 | 2.5 × .083 in. | 10 electric controlled axes, plus one optional axis | Published for clockwise and counter-clockwise bending in the same cycle and 3+ tool stacks. |
| Bend Master 90 | 3.5 × .157 in.; material basis is not stated beside this capacity | 6 electrically controlled axes | U.S. specification publishes clockwise bending and 3+ tool stacks. Its architecture is not the same as BM45/65 and its U.S. specification also lists a hydraulic reservoir for auxiliary functions. |
Capacity qualification: The global BM90 statement is 90 × 4 mm in steel R=400 N/mm². Keep that statement separate from the U.S. 3.5 × .157 in. statement because the material basis is not printed beside the U.S. capacity. Do not transfer BM45/65 ten-axis or same-cycle clockwise/counter-clockwise claims to BM90.
Start by separating direct nominal-size matches from smaller and larger neighbors. A machine with an 80, 83 or 88.9 mm published maximum does not cover a full 90 mm requirement. A larger 100 or 102 mm machine may cover the diameter, but it can bring a different footprint, cost structure, tooling envelope and process architecture.
Examples include BLM ELECT80, AMOB eMOB 80, Crippa/OCTA 980LE, transfluid PROLINE 80, Unison Breeze 80 mm, VLB EB83CNC and the SOCO SB-90x4A-2S offered through Tube Form Solutions. The SOCO model name includes “90,” but the published diameter is 88.9 mm. These machines may fit a particular part, but they should not be described as equivalent to a full 90 mm envelope.
Relevant larger neighbors include BLM ELECT102, Crippa/OCTA 100HE, AMOB eMOB 100, transfluid PROLINE 100, Horn Metric CNC 100TBRE, Hines 300 CNC-B and VLB EB105CNC. Larger nominal capacity does not establish a better fit. Compare published wall and material basis, machine architecture, tooling, utilities, floor space and the complete quoted package.
Brand lists can accidentally count the same equipment twice. Tube Form Solutions is a distributor and integrator channel that offers equipment including SOCO. Trick-Tools is a retail channel and should not be counted as a second transfluid manufacturer when it lists transfluid equipment. Winton’s published CNC rotary-draw range reviewed for this guide did not establish a 90-class model. Channel capability still matters—local application review, tooling, installation and service can affect the result—but channel and OEM evidence should be labeled separately.
A fair machine comparison uses the same material lot, blank length, geometry and acceptance criteria. Before the trial, document:
Record the installed tooling, software revision, machine configuration, cycle assumptions and operator interventions. A sample produced on a specially equipped demonstration machine may not represent the base configuration in a commercial quote.
Bring the finished part drawing, material, tube OD and wall, centerline radii, bend sequence, tolerances and production requirement. Pedrazzoli USA can review the Bend Master application path and quote scope. Apply the same evidence standard to every supplier on the shortlist.
